Lion Puppet is Completed

In progression with recyclable puppets, I decided to make a puppet I've been wanting to do for some time. I always wanted to do a lion puppet so I put in some hours and worked hard to make my latest puppet. This addition will be under theBoneproject where you'll see pictures and a video of my latest creation!

The Great Puppet Wars

Here is the first, of hopefully many more, puppet fight videos. I'm operating the purple samurai as I take on the mild duds puppet!

The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History Visit

Emily and I took the liberty to attend the festivities on October 2nd. We saw an assortment of intriguing things both out of fun and value for our project. The most useful discovery happened to be the "limberjack" toy puppets and their curiously charming movements. I had the privilege to play tambourine in the band that played for the limberjacks, which earned me a certificate! See more for yourself below!

Trio of Recycled Puppets Complete

I've finally gathered all the different pictures of my latest creations. I've made 3 recycled puppets during this past week. The first two are humanoid, and the third is a bird shaped puppet. Check them out in theBoneproject tab!

Recycled Puppets Under Construction

This week we're focusing on the creation of puppets made out of recycled materials. We are encouraged to construct these puppets with items such as plastic, string, aluminum etc. My first recycle/puppetry "love-child" has just been created and recently modified. He is notably different from the first few because of his movable (bubblegum container" head. He joins an already growing collection of puppets, with my new creation already under way!

Established theMeproject and theBoneproject

As the beginning of the semester is just getting under way, so is our puppet project. I've uploaded the first stages of thePuppethomeProject. So far the illustrated self portrait, mask imprint, and computer rendition are documented in the page entitled "theMeproject". Following that, I've put up the first stages of "theBoneproject". In there you'll see the first two puppets of many more to come. Check em out!
